We source all of our meat and vegetables locally from Wirral farmers and suppliers (where possible). We feel it is important support local business and we also love to showcase the fantastic produce that this area has to offer.
We use the finest local produce including: asparagus from Claremont Farm in Bebington, meat from Williams of Flint butchers in Flintshire, free range eggs from various Wirral farmers and the most delicate and delicious Wirral Watercress from just down the road in Childer Thornton. We are proud to showcase the fantastic produce that Wirral has to offer as well as support local business.

Williams of Flint Butchers, Flintshire
Their signature product is the Welsh Dry Aged beef, which is carefully chilled and aged in state-of-the-art chilling rooms to achieve perfection along with their award winning Welsh lamb. We only use the finest of quality in our dishes so that you get the finest of flavours.
Wirral Watercress, Childer Thornton
Wirral Watercress established in 2005, is based in Childer Thornton on the Wirral Peninsula. As the name suggests, the main product of the business is watercress which is supplied to small independent greengrocers and the hotel/restaurant trade across the Wirral, west Cheshire and Merseyside from March until the end of December. Peter Jones is at the helm of the farm, he is a third generation market gardener with a passion for producing a high quality product. We also get a supply of wild garlic from these guys too.
Claremont Farm, Bebington (Wirral)
Claremont Farm provides award-winning asparagus to many pubs and restaurants in the area including ourselves. On the Wirral, the climate and soil are perfect for growing this delicious vegetable. Andy and his team at Claremont Farm care about the land they tend and the crops they grow. They produce top quality products whilst working sensitively with the environment. The farm produces a wide range of vegetables as well as being a great activity centre for families and children to learn about the produce of the land.
Claremont Farm is now regarded as the good food hub of the Wirral and plays host to the annual Wirral Food and Drink Festival, which attracts over 20,000 people each year.
Neve Fleetwood Seafood, Lancashire
Neve Fleetwood have been supplying fresh fish to the North West for over 30 years. Synonymous with the North West fishing industry, Neve Fleetwood goes back three generations to when it’s founders Chris and Gerrard Neve began going door-to-door, selling fish to local markets and restaurants. The business has changed dramatically since those days, however one thing that remains is the heritage and the passion amongst the team, for quality seafood products. The fish is sourced locally where possible, with Fleetwood fish market being on their door step.
Sourcing fish responsibly is paramount to their business. They passionately believe in promoting the most sustainable products available to them.
Fine Fruits, Pensby (Wirral)
Wherever possible they source fresh produce from local growers, helping to ensure that the customer receives the freshest, highest quality produce that hasn’t travelled half the world!
Dunstan Fish & Game, Burton (Wirral)
Dunstan Fish & Game was founded in 1976 specialising in oak smoked meats but now they offer a variety of game, exotic and alternative meats. During game season we like to introduce it into our menu as we feel that it offers that something different for people to try and see how delicious the unknown can sometimes be!
