We are putting in the below measures and ask both our customers and team to play their part in ensuring a safe surrounding for all:
Drinking and Dining with Us
In light of recent announcements moving Cheshire West into tier 2, if you’d like to have an alcoholic drink with us, then you must now dine with us. However, if you’d like to dine with us, we’re pleased to report, you don’t have to have an alcoholic drink with us!
Face Masks for Staff and Customers
All staff members (other than medically exempt) will wear face masks whilst at work. We require all customers to wear a face mask except when seated at your table (unless you have a medical reason not to do so).
We can only take bookings for a maximum party size of 6 people from one household or one support bubble inside. Mixed households are welcome outside under the rule of 6. We must ask that customers remain at their table & not move around the pub if you have friends on other tables.
Due to the current tier 2 restrictions, customers who wish to have an alcoholic drink must order a substantial meal to go with it.
We are asking all customers to sanitise their hands upon arrival to the pub and all of team are washing and sanitising their hands regularly.
We ask all customers and our team members to practise safe social distancing and to please be courteous to others in tight spaces around the pub. We have reduced the number of tables and seats to ensure safer distances between tables and diners.
One Way System
There is a one way system in operation at the pub for entering and leaving the building and we ask that customers adhere to this as much as possible.
Our team are regularly cleaning and sanitising “touch areas” around the pub every 30 minutes as well as regular cleaning of our toilets.
Seated Service Inside & Out and Queueing
We are offering seated service only inside and out. Please wait to be seated upon arrival and we ask that you do not approach the bar, your server will come to you. For those without a reservation we do offer a number of walk-in tables for drinks and dining, however you may need to queue if these are full at busy times.
Please Arrive On Time For Your Booking
We request that you do not arrive more than 5 minutes ahead of your booking time as we do not have extra seating available nor is standing at the bar permitted.
Single Use Menus
Our menus will be single use for each customer and will be recycled after.
Track and Trace
Your booking details will be used for Track and Trace should they be needed however if you come along without a reservation then we’ll ask for your details on arrival.
As much as we love interaction with each other, at the moment we need to try and limit this as much as possible so we encourage contactless/card payments.
Staff Health Checks
Staff will undertake temperature and health checks upon arrival for their shift to ensure they are fit to work.
Enjoy A Safe Stay
Our guests can rest assured that we are doing everything we can to provide a safe and relaxing stay. In addition to the above measures, we are also introducing the following operating procedures in our accommodation:
Deep Cleaning and Sanitising of Bedrooms
All of our bedrooms receive a deep clean and full sanitisation upon check out of each guest.
Daily Room Service
You will be asked upon arrival if you want your room servicing on a daily basis or if you would rather not have housekeeping enter your room during your stay.
Digital Guest Folder
We have digitised our guest information folder which you can access online.
Our usual breakfast buffet table is not available to guests but items are available upon request from your server.
We appreciate that we may not have answered all your questions above and so if any queries remain we would like to direct you to our Frequently Asked Questions page on our website HERE, or by all means get in touch directly.
If we all play our part then we can enjoy our time at the pub with friends and family. We hope that we have found the balance right between being a great pub and keeping you and our team safe however if you have any concerns or feedback then please speak to a member of the team.
